Hallo allerseits,
habe neulich bei mobygames einen sehr guten (wenn auch sehr versteckten) Artikel gefunden, der einen fast vollständigen Überblick über alle guten, mehr oder weniger bekannten PC-Rollenspiele aus der westlichen Hemisphäre gibt von den frühen 80ern bis ca. 2007. Teilweise ist der natürlich etwas subjektiv geschrieben aber das darf ja auch mal sein

In dem Teil, der die 90er behandelt (LINK2) gibt es einen netten Abschnitt über die NLT.
Hier mal ein Auszug:
"It is also the most complex computer RPG series ever, even more complex than the Wizardries. Wizardry had more frustration than complexity, there is a subtle difference there. Realms of Arkania is complex because of the realism. ... Basically, this series is complex enough that beating it will earn you the title of "the man" in some circles. Question is, do you really want to be the "the man" in those circles? Haven't you got anything better to do?"
